What e-Stamping actually involves
e-Stamping replaces the physical sheet with an electronic stamp certificate carrying a unique identification number, generated through the authorised central record-keeping system in states that have adopted it. Because the certificate is verifiable against that record, it removes the two oldest problems with physical paper: counterfeiting, and arguments about whether a sheet was genuine.
Not every state supports it, and those that do differ in which instruments qualify. We work out what applies to your document, procure the certificate, and return it against your reference — so the digital route is used wherever it is available to you, and the physical route only where it is still required.
